SALVE AND REATREAT AT OUR LADY OF FATHIMA CHURCH, PERNAL, DIOCESE OF UDUPI
“When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! †(John 19:26-27). Divine Call Centre, Mulki, conducted one day retreat cum five days of salve at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal of Udupi Diocese. One day retreat was held on Sunday 13th September 2015 from 9am to 4 pm. This was attended by more than five hundred people from all around the places. There were talks on Faith and Suffering, Jesus as the Only Lord and Savior. Apart from Holy Mass and adoration there were also action songs and praise and worship sessions on that day. There was also salve held on five different days contemplating on the seven sorrows of Mother Mary. On those days there were talks on significance of Mary, Faith of Mary, Surrender of Mary, Sufferings of Mary and Role of Mary in our Salvation. Frs. Valerian, Anil Kiran, Francline and Evan were the main preachers. Bro. Maxim Moras accompanied them with the music on all the days. It was indeed a wonderful experience for all those who attended the service. We are grateful to the parish priest and all the parishioners who made it possible this one day retreat and salve.
