CHILDREN RETREAT 13 – 16 APRIL 2014
The young blood with faith acclamations flowed into the DCC campus from 13 -16 April 2014. Children from the small age to 10 standards gathered here for the spiritual renewal. The three days were fun filled days as the campus became vibrant with energy. 280 children, some along with their parents and divine volunteers praised God. It was beauty to see small children taken care by the elder ones in their growing into faith. They were divided into 10 groups and had their activities in their groups. There were action songs, talks, Holy Mass, confessions, adoration etc. The first day witnessed creative presentation of the parables / healings of the Lord in action. The second day was creative with Bible Quiz and Action Song presentations. All were thrilled to practice their faith. Many a people helped in various ways to make their loved ones retreat a holy experience. The retreat concluded with Holy Mass and anointing on 16 Wednesday noon. All the children were given with tokens to remember. The Lord worked mightily all the three days.
