DCC BIDS ADIEU TO 2012 AND WELCOMES 2013!

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”(IThes.5:16-18). Divine Call Centre, Karnad, Mulki, organised a Night Vigil to bid farewell to the bygone year 2012 and a midnight mass to welcome the New Year 2013! To remember and thank the Lord and to praise and worship the Lord, DCC Conducted three hour long praise and worship and adoration on 31st December 2012 from 9 pm to 12 am midnight. Hundreds of people had gathered to thank the Lord for His numerous and countless blessings in the past year and to spend some final hours in the company of the Lord. All those who had gathered for the vigil rejoiced and thanked the Lord for all his blessings and graces He showered upon us during the Year of 2012. “For in him we live and move and have our being” (Acts.17:28). Therefore, as the clock ticked 12 in the midnight, we all welcomed the New Year 2013 with a grand Eucharistic Celebration. This mass was presided by Fr. Sylvester Rego SVD, Concelebrated by Fr. Abraham D’souza SVD, Fr. Francis Fernandes SVD, Fr. Theo Pinto and Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes SVD. Fr. Abraham D’souza preached homily during the mass. After the solemn Eucharistic celebration we cut the new year cake and spent some time together singing and praising God for blessing us with the New Year 2013. Thus, our entire night vigil, midnight mass and other celebrations lasted till 2 am in the early morning.
