NEW RELEASES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH AT DCC
Saturday 8 March 2014 was a red letter day as DCC brought out two of its productions for spiritual growth. Daivik Sparsh / Divine Touch - the CD containing the Divine hymns, and the Book of Novenas in honour of St. Arnold Janssen and St. Frienademetz were the two new releases during this Lenten season.
This day was marked with triple celebrations. In the first place, Fr. Maxim Pinto celebrated his birthday, gift of life from God through the Celebration of Holy Eucharist. The gathered assembly after thanking God sang the birthday song for Fr. Maxim Pinto SVD who helps out in the retreat center in various ways. On this occasion he released the book of Novenas in honour of St. Arnold Janssen and St. Frienademetz, which will help people to pray for missions and spiritual growth. Being the International Women’s Day, Sr. Thelma SSpS released the CD ‘Daivik Sparsh / Divine Touch.’ Working in Manasa, an institute for the challenged children, Sr. Thelma was the right person to release the CD Daivik Sparsh as she herself gives the divine touch through her service to the challenged children in Manasa. It was day of blessing for the centre. The CD and Novena Books are available at the stall in the centre as well as in some of the selected centers across Mangalore and Udupi
