DIVINE INTERCESSORS’ MEET HELD
“Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God†(Phil. 4:6).
On Thursday, 03rd July, 2014, on the feast day of St. Thomas (The Apostle of India), all the intercessors of Divine Call Centre, Karnad, Mulki, gathered for a short meet together in the centre. The meeting began at 10 am with a short welcome note by the Director Fr. Valerian Fernandes SVD. Thereafter we spent another hour in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament in thanking and praising the Lord as well as in praying for all the various needs (intercession). At 11 0’clock we began the solemn festive mass presided over by Fr. Evan Gomes SVD. During the mass a fitting homily was preached by Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes SVD, highlighting the need and importance of intercessory prayers today. Finally there was a short meeting for all the new and old intercessors together with regard to the registration and organization of intercessory prayers in the centre. Thus, the meeting was ended with lunch at noon.
