LIFE IN ABUNDANCE RETREAT : A RETREAT FOR PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS
“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly†(Jn.10:10)
“Life in Abundance – A Retreat for Priests and Religious,†was held at Divine Call Centre, Mulki, Mangalore. It was a week long retreat started on May 12th to May 17th, 2013. This was a special growth retreat preached by Fr. Fredrick Santhumayer SVD, a well-known renowned biblical scholar hailing from Mangalore. He has been working in Orissa in India East Province (INE) since his ordination.
About fifty consecrated men and women participated in this special retreat. There were only a few talks along with praise and worship, adoration and Holy Eucharist. Much of the time was spent on personal prayer, silence and reflection. All those who attended the retreat felt the touch of the Lord and have been greatly enriched by this special growth retreat. Truly the Lord says,“My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples†(Jn.15:8).
